Keep your eyes and ears open!!!!

Just saw on the news that the White Bear Lake NASP archery club had most of their equipment stolen. This is really sad, I could be wrong, but I think WBL has the largest NASP club in the state. I work in Chisago and we are trying to build a club here, but WBL has had a few National Champs... Keep your eyes and ears open and lets help them find their gear. They shoot all Genisis bows, at this point I would not buy any used Genisis unless I knew the seller.. According to WCCO there is also a place where you can donate to help the club get back on its feet. From the sounds of it, many kids will not be able to go to nationals now because their gear is gone.

Here is more info from Mike Wallace:

It is a black, 6x12, enclosed trailer with a dented up front corner (can't remember which one now).

I run the Westonka NASP program and their trailer getting stolen affects more than just White Bear.

The trailer and much of the equipment stored in it, were used throughout the metro for schools hosting tournaments. Most schools don't have the numbers of targets or backstop curtains to host a large tournament. This trailer and equipment were used by several schools, including Westonka.

Woodbury, St. Paul Central, New Prague, Westonka, and the Chisago schools were all counting on this equipment to be available this winter for the tournament schedule. Losing it will be an unneeded hardship.

This is terrible for the White Bear kids, some of whom were planning on attending the NASP World Tournament in Orlando this weekend. I hope that those kids were able to borrow bows and will still be attending. White Bear had their first National Champion last year. A fourth grader shot a 279/300 to win his division.

The trailer was parked in a staff parking lot adjacent to their North Campus, I believe.

They have links to the news stories and information about donations on their website. You should be able to search White Bear Archery and find it.
