Its the setting sun shining through the woods. The red in #3 is fog in the last bits of light from the setting sun.

Shawn, iso 200 1/80 sec. f 5.6 at 300mm and cropped. I think saturation is up 2 and darked the shot and knowing me played on contrast as well. I almost deleted the moon shot but kept it cuz I thought the fog add some interest. I seldon even try a shot with my lens at 300 due to drop in quality past 200 and in this case no tripod but nothing in the picture calls for real sharp results. As if I know what I am talking about..
