Haven't had much time to shoot lately, but had a hummer that hovered around me on my deck at about 6 feet long enough to snap a shot with my 7D and a 100-400:

And had to at least try my 10 stop ND filter with a couple of shots. This one is a 30 second exposure at 9:00 in the morning. Sunny day, but the sun was behind the trees and not shining onto the water:

Note: I used the forum uploader and when previewing, looks like the sharpness is effected a bit.
