I looked at this boat earlier this year before going to a different make. The boat is nice but there was going to have to be too many things added on to have it the way I wanted it for fishing. Ranger makes a quality boat, nice fit and finish but when all the add ons were figured in it was way may expensive than a larger, equally equipped boat of comparable quality. Plus it was a bit too small to fish 3 in.

I run a 185vx, great boat. Fishes larger than same size skeeter and nitro. The ride is great but speed is slow. It is very well put together. The storage compartments are generous. I'm looking at selling at the end of the season if you want a test ride.

dudewheresmyboat. a 185 cant go straight in my garage which is a huge thing for me. otherwise i may have taken you up. im heading up to northern wisconsin friday to look at one and buy if it is on the up and up.
