goblueM
What do you guys just troll around looking for floaters? I would say over my last 5 years of fishing I've seen on average just 2 floaters/year that weren't pan/rough fish, and only one that was a muskie in my life (and I believe that was in October). And I fish plenty and am plenty observant. you must not fish Harriet or Calhoun...
Castinski
There hasn't been much for reports around these parts lately, so here goes.Been out on several metro lakes this past week. The fish have really been moving. I have found boating pressure to be down and water clarity up for the most part with the dropping water temps. The best action areas have been on shallow flats (2-6') and any weed bed that is still relatively green. I have found several weed beds where certain types of vegetation has died off leaving some nice pockets to fish in the still green weeds. These have been productive areas, but keep in mind the weed beds are changing on an almost daily basis. Blades are moving a lot of fish, as are topwaters. Some of the bigger fish have come on mag dawgs and pounders. Water temps have fluctuated between 57 and 64.

HugoBox
White Bear has been VERY tough for me. Worst September I've had out there in many years. I'm sure someone is killing them tho.
Slabasaurus
Hugo... I hear you on the WBL deal. Although the past few outings I have had a couple follows. Shallow (4-8') weeds is where I've seen em.Word on the street is the skis just aren't biting...sounds like they're following up to boats and docks and whatnot but not actually taking.Northern bite, on the other hand, is awesome out on WBL right now. HugoBox
Slabs,Think well even be able to use the access the whole fall. I have an 18 foot Alumacraft that could almost float in a puddle and he past few times out I've barely been able to turn around in he channel. For once I don't envy the guys with the big rigs. Slabasaurus
Right On Hugo... i'm not sure, if the lake doesn't take a direct hit from any storms it's not lookin good. Next two weeks look sunny, warmish, not exactly what we're lookin for to help out the lake after how many times i've been stuck on a lake this year (live right near Otter) I'm glad the boat I use is sittin on a lift in white bear already
