This was a good decoy last year

One came to the floater, neat decoy but kind of a hassle to use.

And finally, the biggest one I have ever seen while spearing. I did see another big one later in the year, but forgot the camera that day. I don't think it was a big as this one, but it was nice.

that is a weight to hold down the decoy.

it's a plastic decoy line, kind of like a weed whip string.

How deep is it?

It is stainless. It could be as deep as 50-60 feet depending on which way it sailed. I was in 14fow off a steep break. Tried the camera and dragging the immediate area and found nothing. The matted weed bed has to be 3-4 feet thick.
