Millacs, Mantrap or Miltona!??

Gonna go up north here on tuesday and dont know what lake i should fish. Any suggestions or opinions on these lakes? My cabin is on Shaminuaeu so i fish there and alex often, but really want to venture and hit some of the other good water close by. Let me know what u think!

I personally would go to Mille Lacs. Some big fish have been caught on there lately and its your best shot at catching a bathtub.

I was seeing water temps around 80 degrees on Mantrap last week so I'd avoid it. Action on leech has picked up so that could be another option. Of the 3 posted I'd probably pick mille lacs.

we were at Mile lacs two days ago{sat} we saw two fish had one on it was a good one,,,talked to a few guys all said they hadnt seen anything one guy said he had a blow up on a topwater on thursday,,water temps 75-76,,,landings are packed with walleye people there must be a good bite,,if you go spend more of your time after dark then in daylight,,,fish dont show themselfs or follow like they used to.

Any advice for Mile Lacs?

I am going to go up there solo tomorrow and give it a try in the morning. Anything happening in the south E/W? I havent been out there for years and am just plannig on winging it.

heres the best advice I can give you,,,the casino has a 16oz prime rib dinner for $7.77 in July,,4-11pm,,,dont stay out too late or you will end up with McDoubles at the Garrison Mcdonalds drive thru like we did

My friend went and fished miltona and he said it was terrible but he fished lobster and saw two.

Well it sounds like we are gonna hit Mile lacs, probably wed evening into the night. Tomorrow night gonna fish shaminuea and see if we can get something to go. Any advice for night fishing the big chunk of water, good starter areas, rocks? sand? cabage? Whats been working out there??

I spent most of the day on Miltona this past Saturday and didn't even see a fish. Talked with some guys at the boat access who reported the same but somebody's buddy pulled a 49 outta there sometime this past month. Gotta love the McDouble's for a buck!
