matching crayfish

Having recently sold my boat. I am now back to shore fishing. Ive been fishing the Rum in st francis. Not much luck so far in the 2 outings. I have noticed an insane amount of crayfish. Ive found some imitation plastics.does anyone have any suggestions on how to rig them? the areas ive been fishing are very rocky. thanks.

The crawdads are thick in that stretch, I use crankbaits in crawdad patterns.

DT4's and Fat Raps work well as do Bomber Square A's.

Get a pair of chest waders and work the stretch from the park down river as far as you care to go.

do you usually have luck fishing that stretch Rum? also how much does a pair of waders run a guy?

70 bucks for the neoprene waders. 40-50 for the rubber ones. They can be much more then this too.

That is my "home" stretch.

I have put my boat in at the access downstream from there and fished it quite extensively.

It can be very good at times.

my guess is he's talking about the access at the anoka county fairgrounds just north of hwy 10 on ferry street. it pools from the dam in a anoka. you can head north a bit and fish south to the dam. theres also one south of the dam in anoka right by the mouth of the miss.

I use a 16 foot Aluminum boat.

Nope, the access in Oak Grove on the west side of the river.

really. do u go north or south. i tried fishing that stretch wading. saw a lot of sucker type fish. i recently moved to st franny. maybe we should try and get out sometime. I promise im not a serial killer

I fish north and south of there.

Lots of good water North of there.
