Largemouth lakes around Mille Lacs?

Don't know about any of the lakes around there but there is good largemouth fishing available in Isle and wakhon bays. Those bays are very fishable in a big south wind. I would have to assume cove bay has good largies as well but have only fished the other too personally.

Yeah ive actually done well on mille lacs for largemouth but sometimes ya just dont want to deal with the crowds and the big lake...small lakes are sometimes more fun to fish. ill have to scope some of the lakes out to the west. The are a couple right on the northend as well that i might have to try.

On the SW shore platte lake and sullivan are very good and camp lake on the west end is a great lake as well. Im in the area for the summer so send me an email if ya wanna hit the smaller lakes sometime even though mille is usually more fun:)

Bay Lake is decent Farm Island and Borden are also they are the ones I can think of right off hand that I have had the most success.

Borden is all right. It has a v shape to it, so you can find a spot to get out of the wind. Some days its really good, other days it can be really hard to fish, it has a ton of structure but not a lot of spots on spots if ya know what I mean. Like most lakes, its better in the morning and evening, but usually pretty slow during the day.
