Are plentiful right now on the MN river. With the river about to crest here on Thursday, to all the fellow catters, please be careful out there.

As we were anchored in our spot last night, it was tree after tree after tree whizzing by. The high water makes for decent boating conditions for larger boats, but those larger boats also make a bigger boom when they hit those trees.

I would think that things should be settling down by this weekend or early next week, as long as we get some extended sunshine. That’s enough rain now...

Your right, there was some rather large floaters coming down last night. I made sure, where ever I was anchored/tied on I was out of the way in case a big floater came rolling towards me.

Saw a few large floaters in Jordan...river is too high.

I was out last night with my neighbor boy and we anchored out of the main channel current. I did see a few 8ft logs but it was not to bad for garbage and floaters.
