When is the rainy weather gonna leave??? I waiting for my beautiful june day. Im usually sporting some hardcore coon eyes from the shades by now. I barely got a five oclock shadow going let alone coon eyes. I hope this rainy weather breaks to some nice west wind, and stable weather to get theses fish in a pattern.

PS. Checked the 10day forecast, and it looks like rain, rain, nice day, rain, rain, nice day, rain. (i know to far to forecast, but wth?)

The weather had been lousy all month. Hasn't bothered me too much though because this past weekend and this next weekend I can't fish anyways. And I never have the opportunity to fish during the week.

Personally loving the rain, but need much heavier amounts if were going to make a dent in the low water levels in the NE Metro. Lots of lakes down 2 to 4+ feet.

I feel your pain man! Im usually out almost daily and I have only been out about 3 times the past week. Its killing me too. Its not so much the rain but all the winds we are getting around here with it. I hope we have a decent Sat for a big contest Ill be doing. I havent even really been out pre fishing at all.

i know what u mean Northlander. I went out 7 days in a row, now all the sudden all this weather has just been crappy and i HATE being locked up in doors when there's fish to be caught

Feels good to take a break IMO, but yeah I'm ready for the weather to be nice now. Catfishing is like crack to me so it has been nice spending time with loved ones.

I have been out and in the rain a few times the last couple weeks and it hasn't been to comfortable but the fish have been biting. So put on a rain suit and go catch some fish!

why can you fish in the rain? other than getting wet, (rain coat) what is the deal? i could see if it were snowing where you could not get through the streets, but you are going fishing on what else rain water. good luck i think. lol

Guys there is a plus side, A. Nobody else is going out, unless brain dead. B. With the overcast your chance of skin cancer will go down.

A friend, I fished tourneys with got skin cancer from to much sun, which soon got much worst. He had several months where he couldn't even think of sittting in a boat.

So, the clouds may not be so bad, plus the fish will be shallower.

never really been accused of being smart, and i have been out in the evening all week......the fishing has been good...tonight it was really good....so much for the fish turning off after a storm front. not much for size but very aggressive fish.
