Johnsonator
Good for Kasey! I wonder what he will do for the 2011 season. I wouldn't be surprised if Rick worked a deal with Stewart Hass to put Kasey in car out of his garage for a year.
Papa Grump
Or would somebody else be given their walking papers??? Good move for both parties involved.
candiru
Or would somebody else be given their walking papers??? Good move for both parties involved. That #88 Driver hasn't been getting it done.
Johnsonator
Never though of the 88 getting the pink slip especially since he sells the most souvenirs. I was assuming he would be taking Mark Martins spot. Never know maybe there will be more drama before the official press release!
harvey lee
Highly doubt that the 88 will get his walking papers even with the tough times he has been having. I would guess that Kasey will go into Mark's car.
slipbobbin
Looks like it will be the 5 car beginning in 2012-2015 season. Must mean mark is retiring again.
Johnsonator
Kasey was on NASCAR Race Hub last night and he said that Rick is going to make sure that he is in a Hendrick backed car next year as well. I can't wait to how this is going to shake out.
gregg52
i wonder if the rules permit a part time 5th car or maybe mark and kasey will just swap spots lol
lawdog
I suspect you'll see a one year only third car at Stewart/Hass. I don't know what his other options are, unless they are ready to start up a Cup car with JR Motorsports. I'd bet the house one of those two has to be it... Uncle Bill
Kahne to Hendrick in 2012! Yawn. Kasey should be listed with the most overated drivers. Right there with Sorenson and Almendinger.
LMITOUT
Since Gordon is listed as the owner of the #48 doesn't that mean Hendrick has room for one more car, or did NASCAR clamp down on that too?
lawdog
Nope. Gordon and Rick are partners in that and I'm sure they count it against Rick.
