Randyjr.
I liked him. Though he was not starting full time he provided a lot of depth for the Vikes. In addition, he could play every position on the offensive line. Thoughts?

PierBridge
Huge loss much worse than losing Taylor!!
james_walleye
Ray Edwards has a 1st round tender on him right now. You won't see the vikings sign Edwards to a longterm deal this offseason unless a team forces their hand and signs him to an offer sheet. FISHINGURU
I'd rather have a 1st round pick then Edwards.
Inthehollow
What is the deal last year the vikings were hot in the free agent market. james_walleye
The vikings are handcuffed by the rules of the uncapped year. They couldnt sign anyone until they lost a free agent and then they could only sign someone up to what the guy they lost signed for. Dont kid yourself, the bears have pulled a panic mode Washington Redskins move. The most active team in free agency. How many teams have built up a winning team that way? When the redskins arent out buying players in a uncapped year you know the free agent pool is horrible. If there was a cap this year the vikings would be right at the cap. So assuming there is a cap again next year why would you go overpay the free agents this year so you can be way over the cap next year? The vikings have to be smart with there money. They have to take care of their owns guys first. Ray Edwards, AP, Syd Rice. The vikings have a lot of $ to shovel out just to keep there horses. FISHINGURU
There will always be a season, the NFL makes way to much money.I don't mind us taking a slow approach into free agency this season, we've done some monster moves the past few years and our drafts have been mean. We can take our time and fill in the holes with some cheaper quality players and through the draft, like James says we have some key players on the squid that are gonna need to get paid big bucks soon if we want to keep them.I'm down if we make a nice trade though forsure! koonie
There isn't really much out there on the free agent market. I can see us waiting until the first round of cuts comes up.
