southwest mn muskies?

just wondering if there are any lakes near southwestern minnesota that are stocked with muskies. I do fish the iowa great lakes but would like to try some different lakes. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Other than Fox I think your stuck with the IGL's. What rig you run, I'm sure I have seen you out.

Can't say I have seen that rig around, we must never fish the same areas at the same times lol. I'm normaly in a Tracker Targa 17. Not sure what I'll be in this season yet.

Have you been out to fox lake early season at all? Thinking about giving it a shot on opener but haven't decided yet (since my dad lives down there.) The DNR office said they netted around 100 muskies last year. I know there have been some nice fish caught out of there last year as well.

In my experience Fox has been pretty tough early on but really picks up as the summer progresses. And yes there is some big fish to be had.

fox and the iowa lakes are about it unless you go all the way over to fairabult to find the skies

Honestly I have never fished Fox, but we gave out 2-3 50" awards for fish caught off Fox at our awards banquet last weekend.

I saw a picture of a 56 i think out of fox last year so the fish have grown up for sure by now, but yeah not too many waters down there
