Ice Auger Rack

Hello -

I have a 2007 Sportman 500 EFI and I am looking for a ice auger rack to carry my gas auger. Anyone know of a good place to purchase one or if some models are better than others - if there a even a couple different ones to choose from?

I built mine out of 1/2" plywood for the base, and 2X6 cut and grooved to hold auger. Simple and cheap. Bungee cords hold auger in place with eye screws in plywood. Fits on front rack, just cut shape to fit.

Check out the one made by digger anchor company. it is new this year and look like it would be nice. hopefully ed carlson will jump in here since he works with the guy from digger.

hard to beat the mad dog holder!! easy to install, very, very secure. I leave my auger on the wheeler when trailering. it's very secure!!

Use the Mad Dog gun rack ($22 at FF). Simple, secure and does the job. I use heavy bungies instead of the light ones that come with the unit. Mount them as far apart as you can on the front rack and enjoy.

I see a guy in Wisconsin or Michigan is making one for ATVs and sleds and has them on e--y maybe a little pricey but they leave room for storage also.
