Chad Luebker
Hello -I have a 2007 Sportman 500 EFI and I am looking for a ice auger rack to carry my gas auger. Anyone know of a good place to purchase one or if some models are better than others - if there a even a couple different ones to choose from? Thanks,Chad
motley man
I built mine out of 1/2" plywood for the base, and 2X6 cut and grooved to hold auger. Simple and cheap. Bungee cords hold auger in place with eye screws in plywood. Fits on front rack, just cut shape to fit.

Ryan_V
hard to beat the mad dog holder!! easy to install, very, very secure. I leave my auger on the wheeler when trailering. it's very secure!!
Fredd
Use the Mad Dog gun rack ($22 at FF). Simple, secure and does the job. I use heavy bungies instead of the light ones that come with the unit. Mount them as far apart as you can on the front rack and enjoy.
Ed Carlson
Brad your correct, "Digger Anchor Co" has a new ice auger carrier system out that will be a big winner for Snowmobile/ATV/UTV/Home as well as for truck mount applications. It is a very versatile carrier system.StrikeMaster was quick to see the advantages of the new "Digger Ice Auger Carrier" system. They will be also be offering it in the line of StrikeMaster ice accessories. It is as simple and secure as a system can get. Fast on, fast off, rock solid security on the move. Never a need to remove your gloves to fuss with straps of Velcro, one clamp fast locking security.I'm very pleased with the final product Digger has in production. MNfan
I see a guy in Wisconsin or Michigan is making one for ATVs and sleds and has them on e--y maybe a little pricey but they leave room for storage also.
