A pair of cardinals.

The light wasn't quite perfect,but I wanted to get the distant pine tree behind them when they landed in a certain part of the tree. A green bg is much more aesthetically pleasing than white, especially with a red subject. I have just 2 goals with these cardinals, with the first being able to get a shot of 2 at the same time and both in focus, and the other one of a male handing a seed to the female. The toughest part is the patience required.

I didn't even notice they were on the same perch, until you mentioned it. The bird dropping is a dead giveaway.

Ken, you do realize that the couple of rb nuthatches you send, must be a romantic couple, right?

Now that you know their favorite perch, all you need to do is get the pruners out and trim off the other branches. I expect to see a shot of the male singing too.
