Nuthatches and chickadees

Nuthatches were very active today. Lots of birds around, but tough light to shoot in from my back deck. Lots of blotchy light.

Red breasted:

White breasted:

Red breasted ski-daddling!

And a couple of chickadees (had the camera warmed up, so why not?) Notice the white patch of feathers above the eye on the first one.

Todd around our feeders I think that we have more RB nuthatch's then last year but there were so many Redpolls and Siskins around it would have been tough to get a good idea.
