jwmiller33 Posted February 13, 2010 Share Posted February 13, 2010 wow those are two massive deer! the one is a big 8 pointer estimated at 150+ inches and the other one is a huge 23 pointer at 190+ inches... anybody have any idea how these two happened to die locked together like this? CO plautz is my neighbor, and the taxidermist in charge of mounting them together was the same guy we take our game to. the bigger of the two, was an 18 pointer that barely grossed 180 inches. nice deer. i never saw them mounted together, but i did see them locked together. when they were found, the antlers seemed as though they were welded together. and when removed from heads, and allowed to dry, they rattled around like rattling antlers. another handsome zone 240 deer! oh yeah, they were from the 08 season, and they died of exhaustion, which led to drowning Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
