Here, I'll start this one. I know dang well, that my 550 2 up Polaris can't beat a 440 lq cooled MXZ Ski doo! At 800' or anywhere! But pulling a porty in deep snow, I'll Smoke Um!

In 1974 I won a brand new Ski Doo 400 Free Air TNT in a contest. I had that thing going 95mph across a packed down Med, Lake according to the speedometor! Now they didn't have GPS back then so I was going by what the Speed-do said! But they were as next to a stock racing sled as you could get at the time. Really fast for a 17 year old!

It started off as an 2004 440 mxzx race sled. Next I bought a 800 rev for my wife. I took the 800 motor out the wifes sled and built it up the way it should have been made. I then put the 440 into my wife's 800 rev chasis and put the 800 in my 440. She still doesn't know I switched the motors.

Huuum, maybe a good way to get a new motor in your old sled ever now and then! Buy the wife a new pretty sled and steal the motor out of it. How much will you give me to not tell her!!!

i know my ariticat 340 jag bored out to 400 is easier to pull out of a ditch than a 550 indy

Who needs power my 01 440 mxzx will smoke 800's all day long. Right to about 65-70 mph because thats how the sleds are geared.

Rode my buddies 2010 Polaris 800 Dragon and couldn't believe how quick that sled is. 100 mph in a heartbeat, way too fast in too little time- but it was fun!
