Neon yellow fluid on my driveway

Recommended Posts

2003 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4X4 1500 Magnum V8 150,000 miles

I notice neon yellow fluid under it (on the snow) from time to time.

Looks like it is 2 spots around the center of the truck (between drivers and passengers seat) on the ground.

Any ideas what may be leaking.. or is it just marking its territory?

Hey everyone, I just noticed this exact same fluid under my 94 Ford Ranger. I'm out in MD and we just got 30 inches of snow over night. I was shoveling the drive and moved the truck out when I saw it. At first I thought it was coming from the rear dif, cause it was right between the rear wheels, but on further inspection (crawling under the passenger side of the thing) I noticed the neon yellow [PoorWordUsage] dripping off the exhaust pipe and muffler. No idea what the heck is causing it, and I hope it's not fluid dripping out of another line and onto the exhaust system. Merkman, have you been able to get under your truck to see anything?

Hope this helps,

Charlie

P.S. I'm from So. St. Paul -- used to this kind of snow of course, but DC is completely shut down! All of the schools are closed (they close if there is a threat of snow) and most buisnesses are closed too. They are ill equiped to move this stuff.
