North Metro Archery Range

I am looking to get into archery/bowhunting and would like to know where everyone goes to shoot. I live in WBL and work in Coon Rapids, what is my best bet for finding a place to practice weekdays after work?

Gander mountain has an indoor range

Bwana Archery (pro shop and indoor range) on 35E, just south of 694. Coon Rapids has a nice club, indoor and outdoor range.

When spring comes around, the outdoor range at Bunker Hills is pretty nice. They have 3 trails and a range that goes out to 90 yards.

Also, Average Joes, downtown Anoka, has always been nice to me.

Honor system, pay 3 bucks shoot as long as you like. Can I post a link to the HSOforum? If not, just poke around on the goog, and you will find the site that shows the layout of the archery area. Maybe I will see you there this spring.

I haven't shot the Bunker range for quite a few years but remember it to be fun.

Google it and you should be fine. I believe it is a municiple area though.

I've been doing my outdoor shooting at the Isanti County Sportsman Club near Cambridge. A membership is required unless you are the guest of a member. It's a pretty cool 3D range that takes a couple hours to shoot. There's also the regular range with targets from 10 to 60 yards.
