Refurbishing Skeeter seats

Hi all,

Did a search in the Boats & Motors forum and came up empty so I figured I'd try here.

Any suggestions on where to take the bench seat from a '96 Skeeter to have the seats redone? Bases are solid, just need to replace all the cracked out and split vinyl. One piece back, 2 seats, and the middle piece all could use a facelift.

Doesn't need to be Skeeter made, just a solid upholstry refurbish. I'm sure some of you know exactly what I mean....

Thanks, Chris

Hey Jason,

Looking to help my nephew sell his '96 Skeeter to upgrade to a 2002, as it's my wanna-be bass ride that I can "borrow" to fit in with the bass crowd!

Hoping all is well with you. I had back op #3, double fusion this time with hardware installed, so I can say I'm going titanium now and mean it, 6 screws and two 3.5 inch titanium rods installed, all at the ripe age of 37. Take care of your back, all you bassin' guys.....

Next year I'm still looking to get out with you, both soft & hard water....got some good bass waters in mind, both browns and greenies at the same time. Really good stuff, even I can catch 'em both in the 20" class. Muskies too if you can hang with me....

Well, Gelderts is no longer in the business of boat interiors, still around but operating in a different arena.

CC was around $900+, tough to put into a boat that he's looking to sell for under $9k.

Deitz: Your old ride had a bit of seat wear if I recall correctly, did you just factor that into the selling price?

Maybe time to get creative.....an off-road bass boat with Jeep seats? grin

Thanks for the ideas guys,

Chris

I have a BassCat that needed new seat covers, so I don't know if Skeeter offers the same thing, but I was able to order exact factory replacements straight from BassCat. It took a little bit of work to replace them myself, but they turned out pretty good (I have no upholstery experience). I believe they were about $400 total. You could try contacting skeeter and see if they offer replacements.
