DTro
It was edited so that simpleton MN fans could understand. Well it didn't take long for the insults to start flying. If MN fans are simpleton's geez what does that make the fans on the other side of the river? Cavemen? 4-5 is light years ahead of 0-0 and just remember, the more you bash this team the worse you make the team it keeps putting a whoopin on look. SkunkedAgain
Now that Badger has clarified his original post, we can move on. Responding to DTRO, I hated to see the Vikings beat us twice this season but it was tough not to appreciate the effect that Favre has had on both teams when he played for each. Viking fans should be proud of making it that far into the playoffs and having such a great regular season --remember back to the Mike Tice era -- in 2009. It was fun to watch the Viking games with Favre at the helm. While the Packer/Viking games didn't quite live up to the hype they were still worth watching...no matter how painful for us Packer fans. Both the Packers and Vikings have some good reason to look forward to the 2010 season. Both should be pre-season playoff favorite (even if Favre isn't there) and the Lions might take a step forward. The NFC North could become a powerhouse division once again in the near future. boatfixer
I dont think it was changed to clarify anything. The 10 percent rule was ignored in the first place.
Born2Fish
Blah blah blah. Im glad one Pack fan has a head on his shoulders. It was a good year for both teams, and its gonna be a heck of a season next year. Who really cares that past 1977 we are 0fer? I bleed purple and gold, yet that stat does nothing. I would offer up the 0-2 stat that the Pack was against the Vikes this year, but we all already know this. The Packers should of won their game against the Cards, and we SHOULD of won against the AINTS. Good luck to the Vikes next year, I hope we end up having to play GB in the playoffs WITH Favre at the helm. Should make for one HECK of a game! SkunkedAgain
Agreed. I was thinking about how similar both the Packers/Cards and Vikings/Saints playoff games were. Both were back-and-forth shoot outs, lost in overtime by our beloved teams. We both had chances to win slip through our fingers (Rodgers missing a wide open Jennings in OT; the Vikings getting backed out of FG range by penalty). Both teams have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to look forwards to next season. I'll even take jabs from guys like Born2Fish about losing twice. It's funny how often the Packers and Vikings trade off getting swept in a season.
