I too am drawn to the image with the grasses, pretty stuff, and interesting too from a lighting perspective. What is the light source on the fg grasses? The casual feel to the final image is also nice.

Thanks guys. I used a flash on the grass. I think it was the pop up flash on the camera. Not to long ago I got an add on flash but I don't think I had it then. Took this the night of the blue moon down on park point. A bit windy at that time so I used the flash to slow the grass down but ended up liking the effect. Saw 3 robins there that evening. They seemed to be following the waxwings.

I don't know a lot about photography but the fact that you can't see your reflection anywhere in the deer's eye must mean it was a heck of a zoom

Love them all, my son's about the same age as the youngest one in the pool table shot and it made me smile. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Thunder. Not so much the zoom but the distance from the dear, then cropped 50%. (She liked my treats, shhh)

My boy is the youngest in that photo as well.
