I wouldn't say it's plenty good but for many of the eyes up there you could manage.

Your bigger eyes (20 inches +) up there will leave you wishing you would have re-spooled though.

Personally I wouldn't bet my URL trip on much less than 6 on a couple rods. The 3's should be your back up if they're that finicky.

10 minutes and 10 dollars could make a big difference in your trip. IMHO.

I have used this with a section of leader at the end of mono..Back a few years ago when the Crappies were hitting, this type of line was a little too stiff on the hook sets for their thin mouths.. But you should be ok..I managed to put a 15" crappie on the wall..

all I ever use is 4lb test up there, and anywhere for that matter. Only time I had a line break was on a big toothy northern. Just adjust your drag if needed. There have been reports and pics of crappies being caught, few and far between compared to the hot years but they're still swimming around.
