Anyone fish Table Rock or Bull Shoals in Missouri?

If I can get enough guys to make the hike to Missouri in late March to get the itch out and fish I might be fishing these lakes. I figured both these lakes would be good drivable options.

Anyone every fish there or know how the fishing is then?

I fished Table Rock for a week last summer. Can't help you out much with March conditions. When we were there the surface temp was over 90. Fishing shallow areas produced only small fish. Fishing deep around structure produced even less. The only nice fish we found were suspending deep mid lake chasing schools of shad. Very tough conditions. As I said, not much help for March.

Fished Table Rock quite a few years ago in late March or Early April when we went to Branson over Easter and stayed at a resort on the lake. According to the resort and verified by my results it is not a good time to fish bass. Couldn't find crappies either in the two times I was out. However, the trout in the River were hot at that time. Hope, this helps some

It will really depend on the weather that time of year. If it's warm you might have a shallow bite. Table Rock is grub swimming territory when the fish are suspended in the trees. I would think it will still be prespawn conditions in late March.
