High def maps of LOTW...

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if there are any high definition (1 foot to 3 foot contours) map chips of the south shore of LOTW around Morris point, Zipple bay and surrounding areas. Specifically something that fits an h2o gps unit.

If there isn't anything on a chip, is there anything (high def) on a paper map of that area on interest?

Thanks.

True... but it's pretty tough to find anything that's as good of depth definition and something that's pretty easy to use... with the mapping that was done a couple of years ago there aren't many secret spots left anymore.

I'll spend the money on the chip...I woudn't buy it if I didn't think it was worth it. Thanks.

Take a look at the Navionics Hotmaps Premium North chip. It has I think over 12000 lakes in Mn and surrounding states and has LOW and Rainy along with a bunch of others in HD. Havent had a chance to use mine on LOW yet but used it on Rainy for the first time this year and it worked great and for $150 you get pretty much every lake you will fish on. Not sure if there HD maps are as good as LakeMaster but IMO they work good enough and you dont have to buy a separate chip for each lake.
