Anyone use the Flex Light?

Yeah I had one on my old FL-8 ultra pack. Worked great and put off tons of light with hardly any power draw. I can't say its worth $30 but you won't be disappointed getting one. I had one for 2 or 3 years before selling it for an LX-3 and never had any issues.

Yea, I had one on my previous FL-8 and now on my FL-20. They are absolutely fantastic when hole hopping at night and in case of emergencies in the fish house if having trouble with regular lighting.

But as Caman said "I don't think it's worth $30.00"

You might be able to come up with your own design for less $$.

Good luck.

awesome light! have used it on my FL8 for the past three years. little power draw, and lots of light. great for pointing past your deadstick hole so you don't need to have lots of light penetrating the ice. I love it for jigging at night because i point it upwards over the hole and hold the rod so my spring bobber is in the light. great way to see what your doing without glowing through the ice. very durable and well worth whatever the price may be today.

Very versatile light, and low amp draw so you can leave it on all night if you wish. They do a good job of recharging glow jigs too.

They do well in a boat too as a dash mount or bow mount flex light option for going up tackle at night.
