......but they're sure a riot!

I got a chance to sneak out with fellow HSO Member Steve and Darrin Bohonis (out local St. Croix & Humminbird rep) over the holiday break to see if we could crack 26". We fished the Parkland region of Manitoba, and although we didn't ultimately bust the 26" barrier, we came close... and we had fun trying!

The bite was pretty consistent, we even got a few double headers. A small jig and plastics (Gulp smelt, Slurpee and glow Realistic mainly) under 3" were the ticket. When it would slow down we'd size down the bait, and let them flutter on a deadstick near bottom... got a few on Bro Bugs!

Looking forward to a few more trout outings this season, but then next trip will HAVE to be the big lake... need some big greeeeeeen walleye!

Below are a few pics, plus the video... happy new year!

Another great video and a few really nice pics. Keep them coming, I always look forward to seeing more of your videos. Had a good laugh about the Sesame Street shot, now I know I'm not the only one who remembers that part with the pinball counting machine.

Hey Ed, the Frabill headquaters is unreal..tons of room and pops up and down very easy..also like the idea of anchoring the system down from the inside on those really cold days. The only problem I encountered with it was with the ice anchors, but they quickly sent me new and improved ones. Glad you guys like the videos we do have a blast doing them..next one will be on big walleyes through the ice on Lake Winnipeglike this one cool

Sorry you can't see the video.... try here:

Been very pleased with the ICE 55, love the instant no guess depth reading... and they sure play nice with other flashers, although we've had a few minor issues getting them to play nice together, but if one guy is on narrow and one on wide beam they seem good. I REALLY like the 6-colour option...

Thanks for the You Tube link, after I posted this reply I went to the Mac and had no problem watching the video u posted. As far as going blind that comes with age (make sure the cheaters are in the bucket).... I am sure this laptop next to the recliner, remote, and end table is getting near it's last legs, but I am comfy reading all the info you guys dump out there, like I said before it's like fishin' without the chill. Headed to Crystal Bay in the morning with my son if I can get his out of school a** out of bed... post my results in the metro lakes. Thanks guys !!
