Red tail indeed. Is he just landing to grab a bite of the dead deer or is he swooping down at another animal?

We put out a couple of road kill and have had great success with the trail cam. Bald eagles, deer, coyote and crows have all come and checked it out.

Thanks for the info. A red tail had been seen in the area but to be honest I've never seen one from this angle and so I wasn't sure what it was. Seemed to big to me to be a red tail.

both great shots!! what a good idea you have with the road-kill,, I've been wanting to do that, but just never found the time to get to it. Do you sit in a ground blind for these? you seem to have gotten in close for these shots.. good job!! in a few weeks I am hoping to grab my ground blind and get out for some wildlife shots.

I just noticed to the left of the eagle image something,, is that a raven taking off when the baldy come in?

Looks like these were shot by the cudde..its a game camera that was set out and is triggered by motion.
