Neighbor_guy
Sometimes it never seams to amaze me the "quality" of the things available today. I used this lock all summer for my boat. Then moved it to my sled trailer to attempt to keep it secure. Well I went to take the trailer off the truck and snaped the key off in the lock. Pi$$ a guy right off. Ok, I have to get the trailer unhooked, Hmmmmmmmmm. So I get out the universal key and SNIP!!! No effort, mabe two min from to . Just a little 14" bolt cutter, mabe 10 seconds worth of effort. Took longer to walk to the shop, find the boltcutter, and walk back. Just goes to show, locks are for honest people. Anybody know of a good lock that will hold up and keep things safe in the driveway? I'd hate to walk out of the house to go to work and have no trailer or snowmobile sitting in the driveway. Wanderer
Insure them for $15,000. Call Mark tomorrow, or today, whenever you see this. As a locksmith, he should be able to give you the lowdown.
zamboni
my buddy just bought a used Chevy Tahoe. Someone put a coupler lock on it, but no reciever, just the lock. Oh, and he didn't get a key for it, either

Oh, and he didn't get a key for it, either tell him to try a torch,be patient and get it good and hot and then try to cut it or use some elbow grease,a few grinding wheels and a grinder

Gus
Just take a 3/8 drill bit straight through the key hole. Done it twice. Get nasty with it if the lock starts to spin. 5 minute job. Sawzalls work great for those "uncuttable python style" cables. 2 mintues stops. (keys and snowstorms don't always mix) It really is sad how cruddy locks are these days. HNTNBUX
When I saw your post I thought you were going to "missing" something again. I am glad it was just a lock this time.
