The seats have to be spun around for there compartments to be opened. Still have to put the carpet down ... Anyone know good place to get marine carpet?

haha yah i know I added about 20 pounds ... i'll be puting a hand winch in the truck bed for 1 man trips to the lake

nice job chuckwagon! Looks very similar to my X2 mods, but I have cutouts for the sliding and swivel seats so they are still functional. I also carpeted the entire thing and had the X2 logo embroidered into the carpet. I picked up my carpet at Menards. It did add quite a bit of weight to an already heavy flipover, but I am still able to load it with gear into the back of my truck by myself.

Looks good..Did mods to my Voyager but opted for paint instead of carpet. I like to have jigs laying out and hooks get stuck in carpet.In the pic you can see the seats are hinged to open towards the back. I moved the hinges to the inside edges so they open towards the inside with the seat going over the minnow pail..gull wing style. It looks like you should be able to do this also..should eliminate the need to spin the seats to open the lids. I found it works a lot better that way.
