mr. heater

Hi-

I currentyl have a sunflower heater, and i would like a mr. heater cooker, and get a hose and run to a 20 pound tank to take up less room in my portable. But i was wondering if anyone has somehow made a frame to make the sunflower like the cooker? just wondering cause i would like to save to fifty dollars when i already have a sunflower. pics would be great!

Just build a frame to make it like the other heater. Weld takes 10 minutes if you have the welder.

If you only occasionally cook with the Mr Heater Tank Top heater, you can convert it very easily with the the Mr. Heater 90 deg elbow fitting. And flip it back up when not required for cooking.

Just be certain to secure the 20 lb tank well so the off sided weight on the cooker and the weight of the cooking pot or fry pan will not tip the tank and heater and injure someone with hot cooking grease of water. Strap it to the shack/sled.

The Mr. Heater 90 deg elbow fitting is about $9.

Or look around. FF has the cookers in their ad for something like $35. That's a good price and saves the hassle.
