Figure I'll get this one started for the 13, 14 people who even care or will actually try to watch it on New Years Eve. After hearing Brewster is going to get a contract extension or something to that extent. I'm a bit shocked and even though winning this bowl game is pretty meaningless, the Gophers really better win, or maybe they could get Brewster out of here by losing badly?! I'm just hoping for a run-up the score kinda game so its interesting at least. Even though the Gophers maybe get a maximum of 7 to 10 points in a game...... Anyone else feel about as confident as I do, or even care!

Hearing about this contract extension has got me alot more upset than any vikings loss this year! Has he actually been given the extension or is it pending the outcome of the bowl game?

I am cheering for the cyclones to give us a sheer beating! Honestly all they need to do to win is score about 14 points, our offense is good for about 10 at best Might seem bad on my part to cheer for the other team, but I know inside that the more we lose now the more it will benefit our program in the long run when finally get this clown out of here!

Iowa State has a pretty good offense...against our defense it should look great. There defense is spotty, but our offense sucks so that shouldn't matter. I'm hoping for a cyclone route, but think it'll be an ugly game 24-10 cyclones.

I just hope a loss in any form will be enough for maturi to NOT give brewster that extension. Texas Tech just fired mike leach...he'd look good in maroon and gold

For some reason hes about to sign an extension too. Like it or not hes gonna be around for a few more years. and if Muturi knew he was going to sign him all along he should have said that a heck of alot earlier to help out with recruiting.

Ugh, why did I sled all the way over to the bar to watch THAT game? I predicted that we'd lost 6-7, but only my wife heard that one. I guess that 13-14 is just as close and almost as ugly.
