Mine did the same thing. Sent it in and they put on a new camera/cable. Its been a couple years ago so I cant remember what it cost me. I remember I had it back in a short time, like a week or so. They said my cable was kinked and had to be replaced.

Check the last few feet of cable (closest to the camera) for any small cuts that could let in any water. Same thing happened to me, I sent it in and they were able to shorten the cable 3 ft and reattach it. I could see come moisture in the lens, but it never blew a fuse. Sounds like a short somewhere to me.

Where did you send your unit into? I have called Aqua Vu and the said I had to buy a whole new cable camera unit for $150.

I had a problem with my Aqua Vu blowing fuses a couple years ago and I took it to them in Brainerd and they put a new monitor on mine and it worked great until I cut the cable with my auger on Sunday.

Sorry if i misled you, mine is a marcum nature vision camera, I talked to one of their tech guys cause I was sure the camera was leaking around the lens. He told me to check for small cuts and sure enuf I had nicked the cable somehow. They cut off the bad section and reattched it for a small fee and i had it back in a week.
