Otter resort fish lodge.

Hello,

Looking into Buying a new fish house and was leaning towards the Resort. It looks plenty roomie for two and the occasinal third person. Looks like you get more room for the money compaired to the lodge anyone have any input?

That should have tons of room for three. It's a full 10" wider than my lodge. I haven't fished 3, but it is a huge 2 man. Either one will be no fun to pull by hand, so you might as well go big if you plan on occasionally fishing 3 wide.

Keep your eyes on the online classifieds (has the name Craig in HSOforum....hint) if looking at buying used. Yesterday there was an otter resort with bench seat, hyfax, cover, and hitch for $550 and was like new. Looks like it has been sold. You can find some good deals on these.

One thing to look at is do you have a vehicle big enough to haul it with. It wont fit in a standard truck bed you will need a long bed or keep the tailgate down and strap it in good.

Great roomy house for 3 people. Very well made and durable.

It will come standard with 2 seats but you can order a 3rd.

I have a Ford Ranger. I guess it dont matter if it sits on the tailgate i wonder if it will fit between the wheel wells? This will be my last Ice shelter for a while as i already have three. last year i bought a used quick flip 2 and like that alot but to me its only a one person shack. Also have a Teepe I.m.o The best Shelter to fish in out on lake Superior In heavy Wind, And a Inta tent all are good in there one way, just would like to find a good 2-3 person tent.

I have the Otter resort, I just went out and measured it, the width of the sled is about 43 inches and it is 7 feet long. Hope this helps.
