BizzityB
Hi Everyone! I'm new here but it's a great site!I am just seeing if anyone uses the XOG for Ice fishing. I love how portable it is. I have the lakemaster chip for it but does anyone know how accurate these are?
leech~~
I have one and used it in my boat along side my H20 and they both ended up in the same spot, so I think it will be fine. I have not used it out in the cold yet. I have heard the battery dies fast so you have to keep it pluged in to a 12V most of the time or just turn it on and off as you move to new spots. hoppe56307
i have one as well they work great
dougr1969
Love my XOG! Just did the download for updated streets. Like mentioned earlier the battery does not last very long so you will have to keep it charged or turn it on and off as needed. Great little unit for the money. As soon as I put the boat away I take out my Lakemaster chip and put it in my XOG. I have found it to be just as accurate.

Lip_Ripper Guy
I have one and REALLY like it, but I'm on my 4th unit in 2 years. Each one has had a different problem, but when it is working it is fantastic.

deadeye
They discontinued them. I was going to get one myself but I could not find one. I heard there are a few out there on closeout for pretty cheap IF you can find one.
CJH
Are they coming out with a new version?
deadeye
IDK, I just looked on their site and all their car models are legacy units now. You might want to shoot them a email and see if they have anything up and coming. You may want to check out the Garmin Nuvi 500/550 if a crossover GPS is what your after. It does a pretty good job on/off road.
CJH
I just liked the bigger screen!! I have an H20 and like it alot, just wish the screen was bigger. On a heavily contoured lake, all the lines can jumble together.
deadeye
I hear ya. The bigger screen is nice. Keep your eyes open at the wal-marts. Up in brooklyn park by fleet farm they still had one on closeout a week or so ago. 129.99 or something like that. Im sure there are some out there at the other ones too. Worth stopping in and having a look if your in the area of one.
Nate McVey
Bizzity, here's a thread we started last year about this time.Lot a good info in it, I still have mine and like it a lot. Only thing that sucks is the battery life, doesn't last long in the cold. XOG Thread 2008
