Full Body Mount

You can expect to pay anywhere from $5-600 on up to $1000 depending on the extras that may go with it. The extras could be an oak base, or a limb for him to stand on, any kind of natural brush etc. There is a big swing in price from one shop to the next.

You got a nice one in the freezer? Or just wishfull thinking?

Stick, that's a Merriams? They sure are purdy...

That thing must take up a space about 4'x4' huh? Not sure I have room in the house for something like that. I know my wife thinks it's already full. hehehehe, she has NO idea.

I kinda like the flying mount myself. I have yet to take one big enough to be worthy.

That one had a lot of Merriam blood in it but technically probably a Hybrid. This was northeast NE. I know even in the black hills, it's mainly hybrids with Rios mixed in. I think a guy almost has to get to Wyoming for the pure Merriams.

And yes, it takes up quite a bit of floor space, I'd say closer to 3x3'. Flying is my favorite mount as well. A coworker of mine has one in his office and it's incredible. He's also got two fighting which is really cool. Never hurts to know a taxidermist. If I ever shoot one worthy enough... it'll be a wall-mount, either half-strut on a limb gobbling or flying.
