South Dakota Bird limit???

Does anyone know if the limit has gone to 5 a day? I checked their HSOforum but nothing???

they havent voted yet to officially change the limit from 3 to 5. I beleive we will have our answer sometime this week.

If the emergency rule is adopted, it would take effect Saturday, Dec. 5, and remain in place until the pheasant season ends Jan. 3.

The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Commission is meeting on December 3rd and 4th (Thursday and Friday) and will be considering the proposal at that time. If approved, I think it will go into effect immediately on Saturday, December 5th. I will try to update these threads when I know for sure...

Nope I got one from you a couple of years ago...just need to install it. You should see that Springer of mine. The light turned on this weekend she was amazing. Tried to give her away this summer...that won't happen again!

PIERRE, S.D. – A proposal to increase the daily bag limit of pheasants from 3 to 5 was defeated at the monthly GFP Commission meeting in Pierre on Thursday.

A proposal needs five votes from the eight member Commission to become rule, but there were only four supporting the measure so the proposal failed to pass.

The bag limit for pheasants will remain at 3 daily and 15 in possession.
