Just a reminder to all...

JWH, our Dads must have graduated from the same training school. I just don't understand how that can happen. I can maybe see a bullet traveling too far or ricocheting, but to point blank shoot someone. That should never happen.

Be safe people, and good luck.

Walleyking, sorry about Brandon, this is probably tough for you. I remember the story well.

My brother was 8 years ago on WI deer opener. Got shot while sleeping in his bed by someone who just had to dry fire to make sure their gun was empty. Still makes me mad.

1 helicopter ride, 2 surgeries, 3 months of missed work and a lot of bad memories.

Just be careful everyone.

Sorry to bring this topic up again soo late but I had a whole night to myself so I decided to stalk around here tonight but, I took my little neph out for the first time this year even got him his own .22lr. He learned very fast on gun safty and only shot when he saw some tree rats.

But before every hunt at camp we always saw make sure you know wat you are shooting at and make sure it is clear behind what ever it is you are shooting at.

First time out bear hunting and I saw a bear coming towards me at 150yds away through the thickets and it looked like some lost guy at first, only knew it was a bear when it got 50yds from me, shadows and leaves in the woods plays tricks on the eyes.

In the middle 60's my friends brother (6'7", 270 lbs) was a junior year starting defensive tackle for a Twin City area high school and was being recuited by colleges. He was accidentely shot while deer hunting on family property in MN. No more football.. ever.
