Yes you can get the replacment rubber net at Gander.

It is one of the easiest to change. Just remove the set screws at the hoop and slip the new net on just as the old net comes off...just note how it is threaded..easy deal. The replacement net is $15 to $24 depending on the size net hoop.

Go to the Frabill site and look under replacment nets, and note the methode to measure the hoop, and also note the replacment net model number you wish.

I did not know there was a difference between rubber nets and rubber coated nets. All I know is that they are easy to get the hooks out without the tangles.

The rubber nets are are just that, rubber with some holes punched in them. Very stretchy. The rubber coated ones I like are just a rubber coating over the usual netting. Many companies make them. They dont weigh as much as the rubber ones, usually have a deeper net and no trampoline effect. I have a telescoper so I can really reach out and net the big ones.

The rubber nets are also very hard to use in current alone. Too much resistance on that thick rubber netting.

The new Frabill Conservation Series nets have a diamond weave coated tangle free mesh, a different critter than a true 100% rubber net.

There are a couple of types of the coated diamond weave nets, a conventional over the hoop, and the new Interlock style.

Here is an up close look at the interlock net system.

Inter-Link net Conservation Series photo.

The new Interlock style diamond weave runs in a special channel on the inside of the hoop, as compared to on the outside of the hoop. One will not interchange with the other, but both are feasibly replaceable. I see they list the Conservation series as N/A not available for replacement nets as of today, this could change soon. But no matter what, they have a very good warranty on them if needed.

If you do not have an interlock net hoop, you would need to order the appropriate size over the hoop coated diamond weave net from Frabill to replace an open weave uncoated model.
