hhguide
I went out with Brad Hoppe yesterday from Musky Mayhem and got to try out one of their news Rods all I can say is Wow! I ended up buying on at the end of the day. I cant wait to get it back out and put my reel on the rod. I got the 9 footer im alittle nervous about it but think overall I will be happier than an 8'6. I threw both Blades and Dawgs on it just to see what is was going to feel like and man it was nice. Just wanted to give people a heads up, it might be something that you might want to look into because people are always asking what to use for a blade rod, well this one is pretty sweet. JRedig
What size blades and what size dawgs did you throw? What are the ratings on the rod? Butt length, overall weight etc? Just a few things that might make a review relevant...
Cooter
Any idea what retail will be on them?

hhguide
Sorry for taking so long to get back, We through everything, Baby girls to super models to pounders, just to try everything out. The 8'6 I would be alittle hesitant to throw a bulldawg with but thats just because its designed to throw blades. As for other facts about the rod, they have lenghts of 8'6 which is a Medium heavy and 9 footer which is a heavy. The retail on them is roughly $225 to $235, which puts you in a middle in the middle for rods yet the rod is made of some good materials. If you think about a st. Croix costing around $400. All the rod eyeguides are Fuji eyeguides from the tip to the bottom one. As for the butt lenght i'm not sure how you guys measure that but from the trigger to butt of the cork its 16 inches. It does have a rod butt flare (not a huge one) but I like it. As for the weight I only have the 9 footer at it weighs roughly 10.3 to 10.4 ounces, Thats what I weighed it at on my scale which is usually very close to accurate. One other thing that I liked about the rod is how balanced it is, they shortened the forgrip of the rod so it would balance out perfect and it does. It also has a one year warranty but I hope I dont have to use that and dont plan on it. Hope I helped out with the questions, I know they will have alot of them at the show if you want to look at them.
