mozy
Actually, I think he has a 24 and 20" Meat Stick this year. I want to pick up the 20".
OnAFly
I was looking at the HSOforum for that sporting goods store in Onamia (starts with an R). They have a 24" one available for order. Maybe it's a typo, but if it exists, I'd like one.
BartmanMN
Interesting. I see that on the R site, but not listed on Jason Mitchell's site.
OnAFly
Yeah, I noticed that too. I thought I was going crazy when I couldn't find it on the JM site. I confirmed my sanity with the R site, that was a close one.
Ed Carlson
Gander in Forest Lake had about half of their stuff out on Tuesday. I've been stopping by every now and then to see if they have any Jason Mitchell rods out yet. I want to get a 24" Meatstick, but I've only seen the 28" out at other places. The JM rods have been shipping in this week, most GM stores should have them now. We got them here in Fargo at Gander this week. Unfortunately we have not seen the JM combo's yet. TIP: Take a look at the GM break down shotgun case, as a case for your more travel and transport sensitive ice rods, like the MeatSticks and the Bro Rod Quick-tips. If you got guns and rods, even sensitive electronics...here ya go, multi-purpose use makes it a far better deal in the end. 6 combo's will go in them easily, and they are a hard case with egg crate insides to really protect your valuable rod/reels from damage in transit. Sharp looking case too. $

deadeye
I was out at the new fleet farm in blaine yesterday and they are starting to get the ice fishing stuff out. They had some augers set up and were working on switching deer hunting over to ice gear. There were a few shelters set up out on the patio too. they didnt have the eskimo quick fish 3 set up out there yet (the one i really wanted to see in person) but there was various clams, frabills, shappels ect. deadeye
Well, I had to bump this thread a bit since Im chomping at the bit to get a ice house. Anyone see a quickfish 3 set up on display somewhere so I could actually look at it? FF in blaine has one up on the wall but not out on the patio. I was gonna just find one and set it up out there but they didn't have any sitting around for me to do that. I was kinda interested in the new shappell pop up too but have yet to see that anywhere. I just want to see it in person before I buy it. I may have to wait for the ice show for that but IDK if I will last that long without having some sort of small meltdown. LOL.
