Ride_Red
Last night my brother and I got our limit of walleyes, in about 3 hours time. Nice fish 2 16.5, 4 19-20, and 4 over 24 with a max of 26". All the fish were caught after dark trolling in 18 feet of water about 5 feet to 12 feet down. Ride_Red
We kept the 16 to 19 inch range, yes i am from michigan the body of water is about a 700 acre lake with very good natural walleye reproduction in fact it is one of the only lakes in our area that has not been planted with walleye since the early 70's. It is a hard lake to pattern, so many people think the walleye in the lake are next to zero, hardly the case, the magic lure was reef runners deep models and slow .8mph and stalling every so often. genegodawa
Haven't been to Iron River/CF in nearly a decade...used to fish Emily, Sunset, Ottawa, Chicaugoan, and several others. Was on one lake (Winslow) back then that was C&R only and that was a good walleye lake-lotsa fun.
