Mousees?

Anyone ever used Mousees? Was thinking about getting some to try this year. Are they effective?

I have used them for panfish and think that wax worms work better most of the time, but there have been a few times when they outfished the waxies.

I typically use silver wigglers. They are tough and one can catch many panfish on 1 wiggler.

I usually purchase 500-1000 and they are also colored. They keep well in the fridge.

Thats all we used to use about 20 years ago till the prices went real high and we tested em side by side for a year with spikes(eurolava). We found no real difference and only use spikes or plastic My dad and I usually go through about 5,000 spikes a year, we fish alot of panfish! We used much less last year as I had alot of luck useing plastic.

The mousies do have a nice tail and milk well also. Try some, they work...

But in my opinion presentation is more important than what your useing...

As many have already stated.. they do work.. But I would not say they work any better than anything else. Silver Wigglers/Spikes/Eurolarve(all the same thing) seem to work just as good as anything and are CHEAP..

Found worked better on some lakes than others but waxies still caught fish also. A.I. did you get the frozen bait figuired out?

Found a company online that sold some......they were $6.50 for one chub though. Thinking I might have to trap a few and freeze them for prices like that. If you know of anywhere or thing let me know though.
