On Oct. 26,1991 Kirby made THE CATCH and the HOMERUN to send it to game 7. A night to never forget in MN Twins history.

It also created a family memory for my brothers and I. Keith and I bowhunting in sw Mn. both shot bucks on evening stand his being a nice 8 pointer and mine a basket 9pt. When I did get home the next day I called my brother Jim and told him I had a nice one and he said so did I, I told him about the bucks we had shot and he told me he released a 30 inch walleye on Gull lake on the same day. I did get to share this story with Kirby at the NW Sportshow years later. A day I will not forget ! RIP!! KIRRRRBY Puckett!!!

9/10ths of ALL pro athletes have skeletons in their closets. Kirby's was more public and it is a shame. He was one of the most loved players in MLB by both the fans, and more importantly the other players loved him to death. That is saying alot.
