Strikemaster broken handle

Anyone able to help me out on how tough it is to install a new handle assembly on a 08 Lazer Mag ?

Looks like (4) allen top bolts and 2 smaller ones separate the head base from the auger and the handle assemble inserts.

This a part easy to find or a special order or trip to Big Lake to have it resolved.

Dog pulled/pushed off wall and landed on patio, cracked the corner of the handle. mad

ice it 06: It's easy to replace. I think they're about $38.00 from Strikemaster. I believe they also make an upgraded composite handle which is around $42.00. Any qualified repair facility has these..but I think you'll find 'em cheaper online...

D-Rock Power Equipment in New Brighton, Mn. sells them. I do believe they have a web site, too. Sorry to hear why you're selling the auger, ice it 06. If it helps, after 26 years, I just lost my job, too. Benefits, everything. Hang on to your equipment if you can. We still need to enjoy life.

Mine was only (11) years so your (26) is a severe negative.

Already had to sell the perm and my truck now last week.

The equipment is just to much of a tease knowing I won't be out until next year @ best.

I'm not the only one hurting, but still bites bad.

Dozer..Had not looked on line...info I was giving out was off the top 'o my noggin. Now that I AM looking on line, I think you're right. Just seems to me I remember a "tougher" composite handle somewhere...?

Someone should send this thread to strikemaster...I have wrote before on here that they need to rid themselves of this plastic [PoorWordUsage]. My Strike master handle broke as well but they replaced it for free cause it was less then a year old. Can the old metal handles cost them that much more money? These things fall overall the time on the ice or in the garage...Jiffy still uses metal right???
