Yep, its taht time of year, to call it a year on the bass fishing, and move over to deer hunting and spearing season! I didnt do as much fishing this year as one might like, but when i did get out, i learned a few more things that are new, and had a great time out there. Bass fishing is so much fun when you can just go out and hang out, and ripp a few bucket heads!

Please share your thoughts on the year as well!

deitz. i love how you inform bass that you will tell him when its winter. that made me laugh. Ive had a good year fishing. first year owning a boat. learned a lot about being a boat owner and being in control of where you want to fish. now i dont have to fish for walleyes all the time. caught my personal best. all in all a good summer.

mww- I hope you understand that Jason(bassnspear) and I are good friends. And the ribbing is all in good nature. He introduced me to spearing last year, which I had a very good time. So its all in fun.

But really.. not any where near winter.. and I will bring this post back up when I feel it is!!!!

Side note to you. When you take over your boat and are in charge of boat control, that is where you learn the most. I commend you on your season, and wish you many more to come.

I just dont wish Spearing Bass a great fall as quitters never win!!! 8-)

mm, deitz and i have became great friends on and off the water. Nothing better then giving your friends some greef. Dude, you shoudl hear deitz sing in the ice house when were spearing. Then he wonders why we dont see any fish, there all swimming away from his cheering voice! hes a Idoit top 10 Garentted?

ya you guys are right, its all about the spearing, its that time of year, and bass fishing for me is done becuase the yearly boat season is over, and its winterization time!
