0 LMITOUT
Are you looking for a weather application or just a HSOforum that you'd pull up with the browser?
0 eyemaster
I use weatherbug.com and like it. It seems to be pretty accurate.
0 DTro
I really like MyCast. If you sign up for free on the HSOforum, you can then get all the info via the web without buying the application.
0 croixflats
I am looking for an app. I was thinking of weatherbug but some of the reviews were not so good.I was looking at MyCast and wasnt sure about if one could use it on cell phone. Is it where you have to book mark the page and go back.I also was looking at Weather Underground but couldnt find an app for BlackBerry for the Ifone but I dont know if there is a differance for download. 0 DTro
MyCast when used as an App works really well. I just don't want to pay the $5 a month, so I just use it via the browser instead for free.By the way, I highly recommend downloading Bolt if you use your Blackberry to browse the web at all. It blows away the Blackberry browser.
0 LMITOUT
The old Weather Bug used to be great when it was free. There is still a free version but it's lacking the bells and whistles the old version had. The pay version may have those. I really liked that you could set up audio and video alerts on various weather statements so that when outdoors you would be notified of approaching bad weather, etc....much like having a weather radio in your pocket. In the meantime I now get text messages from the NWS which is OK.You may want to download the BlackBerry App World if you haven't already. Some carriers pre-load this on the BB's too. You can browse through the different applications (both free and pay) and decide which one you prefer. There are a fair amount of weather apps on the market for the BB to choose from and you can find them at App World.Otherwise, you can bookmark the various websites in your browser and call them up as needed. I created a folder in my bookmarks for weather websites such as:National Weather ServiceWeather UndergroundThe Weather ChannelAccuweatherThe NWS is the one I primarily use. Make a bookmark of the page after entering your zip code so it comes up automatically without having to type in any text the next time you call it up. 0 jwhjr
Thanks for the tip on Bolt, it is much better than the BB browser.
0 LMITOUT
Bolt is fine.....as long as you are using it in a high speed data area (EVDO, etc). It seems that if you don't have good data connectivity it'll hang at 20% when loading a page. The BB browser will keep on chugging regardless.Bolt will render webpages better though and I have a few work related websites that utilize frames which the BB native browser cannot handle. I've been using Bolt since the first Beta version came out and really like it, especially on sites such as this which the BB browser doesn't handle very well. They've made improvements with every revision since so they listen to the users. I just wish they would fix the low speed data problem which has been an issue since day 1. 0 DTro
yep, I experience the same hang at 20% in low signal areas.
0 Mugsaway
I use the weather channel and windfinder on my phone. Both have been reliable for me..
0 LwnmwnMan2
Weather.govBookmark and you're good to go.(It's what LMITOUT uses)My life depends on the weather, minute by minute especially snowplowing. Weather.gov is the National Weather Service (NWS) bookmark it with your zip code and you can get all the up to the minute info. For those that don't know, MyCast (created by Paul Douglas and another guy from 'CCO) is a direct copy of what NWS puts out. They were just first out with a mobile application, now NWS is coming out with theirs, with a mobile version of their HSOforum. 0 CAMAN
Berryweather is the best I have found and its a one time fee of $10. I love the fact that you can set it so it tells you the weather for up to 10 different locations and also set it to follow you around with GPS and give you severe weather warnings for your location (GPS doesn't work with Verizon, they block 3rd party GPS applications) The default radar is a little cheesy, but there is a way to set it so it pulls the radar from other sources, though I haven't messed around with that. There are way to many ways to personalize this app, I can't remember them all.Its an excellent app for the money. You can try it free for 7 days.

You won't find an app, but you can access through the web.Lite version: wund-comMobile version m-wund-comThe lite version is probably what you would want on your BB.
