You guys know the easy way to get the girth of a fish? You all have the equipment right in the boat. Would only take a few seconds to do if you were really concerned about it.

Have the partner just grab the line above the leader, and pull around the belly, not tight or anything, but just a quick wrap, mark the spot with the second hand. Hold that up to your tape or stick, and there you have it. Super simple and very fast if you want it that bad.

Meh, those are bottom feeders. I fish for bone-jarring strikes. It helps my ADD that I can cast for 20 hours straight if needed
